What's new?
The biggest news is that our practice is relocating to Manhattan in September 2010.
Dr.Katz is pleased to announce that she is joining the NYU Department of Dermatology and will be practicing
at NYU Langone Trinity Center at 111 Broadway, 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10006 (212)263-9700
and at NYU Dermatologic Associates at NYU Langone Medical Center, 530 First Avenue, Suite 7R, New York, NY 10016

Summertime means...Sun Protection
Sunblock: Titanium and/or Zinc
or
Sunscreen: with Avobenzone (also called Parsol 1789) or Mexoryl
Use an SPF 30 or above
Apply generously (2-3 tablespoons to do a body) and often (every 2 hours)
Protective clothing (yes, a hat, a light long-sleeved linen shirt when exposed)
Shade: cross to the shady side of the street, consider a parasol as a fashion statement
Common sense: swim, run, bike early or late, not midday
And NO TANNING in the sun or in the tanning parlors!
Self-tanners are fine.
